Weed The Garden Or The Weeds Take The Garden
Do you have a garden at home? If you’re like most people, you’re always comparing it to what’s on the other side of the fence. The grass is greener. There are more flowers. And, most importantly, there are no weeds. Just like a garden, there are weeds in your practice. The weeds are negativity. They’re PPO dependency. They’re the patients who don’t pay or value your care.
You know what’s tricky about weeds? They spread. They multiply. The more weeds you have, the harder it is to get rid of them!
Stop looking at other people’s gardens, and start tending to yours.
When you find a weed, address it right away. Create a culture of positivity in your practice. Take steps to decrease your dependency on PPOs. Schedule patients who pay on time and see the value in your care. Weeds are much easier to get rid of when they’re small!
You don’t have to be the best gardener in town. Just be the best you can possibly be! Show this video to your team, and encourage them to become better gardeners, too.
