The Fish Smells At The Top
What does a dentist and fisherman have in common? They both love to tell fish stories. Dentists make their practices sound bigger, better, and more successful than they actually are! Get tricked by a convincing fish story, and you’ll start to doubt your own practice.
Fish stories can make you wonder, “Why isn’t MY practice that successful?” Many dentists will point the finger at their team. They’ll say hygienists take too long to prep their instruments. They’ll say the front desk spends too much time on their phones.
Here’s the thing about fish: they stink the most at the top.
Before you point the finger, turn the thumb. Maybe there’s something YOU can do better! Your practice is a team effort, and you’re part of the team. Take a good look in the mirror, and you’ll be one step closer to achieving the practice you really want.
Repeat after me: better leader, better practice.
With all this talk about fish, we just HAD to make a video about fish stories. I wore a fish costume and everything!
