“I can’t find team members who get it…”

We hear this all the time. But our next question for you might be, “what description of your practice are you giving?”

Too many practices (and businesses in general) seek  “skilled, motivated employees.” But that simply isn’t enough. Let’s say you emphasize CE in your practice, but your new skilled, motivated team member doesn’t feel like spending occasional Fridays at courses. You may be inviting conflict into your practice.

On the flip side, what if you advertise a “calm, spa-like” atmosphere in your hiring ads, but new team members discover the actual production day is constant chaos?

All of this points to one simple truth: You must know and live your vision.

Take some time at your next meeting to review your vision, and ask yourselves if you’re in line with it. Will you all agree? Allow team members to ask questions, challenge the ways you may be failing to live up to the vision. 

This is one critical key to happier, more cohesive team members…those already employed in your practice, and the ones you seek to add!
